Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM)
The DAY-NULM is a mission aimed at providing sustainable livelihoods to urban poor through skill training, entrepreneurship development, and financial assistance.
Selection of Beneficiary and Procedure for Sponsoring Applications: A Task Force at the Urban Local Body (ULB) level is responsible for selecting beneficiaries and sponsoring applications.
Educational Qualifications and Training Requirement: The mission offers various training programs, including Employment through Skills Training and Placement (EST&P), Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP), and follow-up entrepreneurial support to individual and group entrepreneurs.
Pattern of Financial Assistance: The mission provides financial assistance to beneficiaries through various channels, including interest subsidy to banks.
Individual Enterprises (SEP-I)-Loan & Subsidy: Eligible individuals can avail loans and subsidies for their enterprises, subject to certain conditions, such as age, project cost, collateral guarantee, repayment, and margin money.
Group Enterprises (SEP-G): The mission also provides support to group enterprises, with similar conditions and requirements as individual enterprises.
