Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM)
The DAY-NULM aims to reduce poverty and vulnerability of urban poor households by enabling them to access gainful self-employment and skilled wage employment opportunities.
Selection of Beneficiary and Procedure for Sponsoring Applications: A Task Force at the Urban Local Body (ULB) level will select beneficiaries and sponsor applications.
Educational Qualifications and Training Requirement: Various training programs are outlined, including Employment through Skills Training and Placement (EST&P), Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP), and follow-up entrepreneurial support to individual and group entrepreneurs.
Pattern of Financial Assistance: Financial assistance will be provided through interest subsidy to banks, with two procedures outlined for claim settlement.
Individual Enterprises (SEP-I)-Loan & Subsidy: Eligibility criteria for individual enterprises include age, project cost, collateral guarantee on bank loan, repayment, margin money, and type of loan.
